Introduction
Welcome to RonDeaton.com. This site is dedicated to the life and career of Ronald Fincher Deaton, a remarkable man who faithfully served the City of Los Angeles for 42 years. He began with the Department of Water & Power in 1965. In the 1970's and early 80's, Ron worked in the Chief Adminstrative Officer's employment. He devoted the majority of his years to the Chief Legislative Analyst's office, eventually serving as the CLA for more than a decade before returning to DWP as its General Manager in 2004. He retired in December 2007. Check out the Bio Page to read more about Ron's life and career.
The primary purpose of this web site is to celebrate Ron's life and service to Los Angeles, and his many friendships with her citizens and leaders. Please use this site's message form to post a greeting for Ron, wishing him well in his retirement.
